How come there were no Christadelphian predictions about the american election? The 'young lion' is more powerful than 'mother lion' Britain.

I wonder if any there will be any commentary about Trump being friendly with Putin

Lots of us don't see the US as a young lion. Many of us don't see this election as prophetically significant.

I was coming in here to post that observation.   Traditional Christadelphian prophecy has made such a big thing about Tarshish and her lions opposing a strong united Europe who is in cahoots with the Russians.  But then prophecy interpretation has changed ever since I was baptised.  When I was baptised it was going to be a Communist Russian overrunning Europe and using it like a puppet to invade Israel.  Then that morphed into the strong united European Union in collaboration with Russia and now ?

I don't think Trump will last long though.  He's too much of a narcissistic maverick for the Republicans to be happy with him and I think his administration will be beset by protests, crises and just general divided discontent.

Donald Trump's rhetoric has also be very pro-Israel

of course, the strongest pro-Israel movement is evangelical christians (pretrib dispensationalists)

I reckon he will last 4 years now that he is more 'presidential'

Don't know, but the news doesn't paint him in such a bad light anymore. Probably because he toned down some of his more brash remarks

Any polls don't really count but "The president's approval rating is at 52 percent, which is the first time he's cracked the 50-50 mark in this specific survey."

Any polls don't really count

44.1% Vs 49.9%, almost a balance between supporters and haters.

Compared to 100% it's terrible but compared to 63% it isn't the end of world.

"Australian share market in its best session since 2011, as investors speculate Donald Trump’s presidency could boost the US economy."

I follow the bookies not the polls, if wallstreets happy then he will stay in.
